Summer and fall 2018 in the East Kootenay

A concern. Signs of a recent bonfire followed by a dump of fresh wood off Gold Creek Road, four km south of Cranbrook. What made it a concern was it was August 13 and the entire province was under threat of wildfires.

The following is a photographic glimpse of the summer and fall in the East Kootenay – June 21 to Dec. 21, as it passed by our eyes.

Mostly home and office-stuck nowadays thanks to e-KNOW’s growth and demands, the breadth of the East Kootenay is lost in our photo display. And last summer’s endless wildfire bad breath bad scene nixed many opportunities for shoots.

Excuses over with, the following locales are featured in the photo video: Cranbrook and area; Columbia Valley; Elk Valley; Kimberley and area; Ktunaxa Nation and Yahk.
