MLA to meet with Columbia Valley constituents
Following on the heels of a very busy summer schedule, Columbia River – Revelstoke MLA Norm Macdonald will be travelling throughout the constituency meeting with residents about issues that matter to them. Macdonald will be in Invermere on Thursday, September 6.
Individual constituents as well as representatives of community groups are encouraged to take this opportunity to share their thoughts with their provincial representative.
To make an appointment to meet with Macdonald, constituents should call 1-866-870-4188 or email [email protected].
As the Deputy Chair of the Special Committee on Timber Supply, Macdonald has spent much of his time since May 17 travelling and deliberating with the Timber Supply committee. The travel schedule included holding consultations in 16 interior communities. A final report with recommendations was delivered by the committee on August 15.
“I am looking forward to having more time this fall to meet with constituents and attend events in my communities,” said Macdonald. “It was a very busy summer as the work of the Timber Supply Committee had me travelling throughout the province. While it was important work, it meant missing many local events over the last three months.”
Constituency staff are also available to assist constituents with their issues during regular office hours: 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., Monday – Thursday.
