MP Morrison sworn-in for second term
Kootenay-Columbia MP Rob Morrison was sworn-in as a Member of the Official Opposition Friday, Oct. 22 in Ottawa.
Morrison was re-elected Sept. 20.
The second-term MP said he is “honoured to have been sworn in as the Member of Parliament for Kootenay-Columbia and I’d like to thank Conservative Party Leader Erin O’Toole, for joining me on this special occasion.
“There is much work to be done and I am calling on the Liberal government to recall Parliament so that we can get to work on addressing the issues, both across the country and here at home. I will continue to work diligently to ensure that the voice of Kootenay-Columbians is well represented in Ottawa and am committed to holding this government accountable.”
