As of Friday, Nov. 19, 90.8% (4,209,651) of eligible people 12 and older in B.C. have received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine and 87.0% (4,034,962) have received their second dose.

In addition, 91.2% (3,945,908) of all eligible adults in B.C. have received their first dose and 87.6% (3,789,140) have received their second dose.

B.C. is reporting 497 new cases of COVID-19, including four epi-linked cases, for a total of 214,636 cases in the province.

There are 3,420 active cases of COVID-19 in the province, and 208,702 people who tested positive have recovered. Of the active cases, 358 individuals are in hospital and 109 are in intensive care. The remaining people are recovering at home in self-isolation.

The new/active cases include:

* 146 new cases in Interior Health (total active cases: 657);

* 138 new cases in Fraser Health (total active cases: 1,244);

* 64 new cases in Vancouver Coastal Health (total active cases: 511);

* 78 new cases in Northern Health (total active cases: 498);

* 71 new cases in Island Health (total active cases: 454).

In the past 24 hours, three new deaths have been reported, for a total of 2,293.

There has been one new health-care facility outbreak at Laurier Manor (Northern Health). The outbreak at Rosemary Heights Seniors Village (Fraser Health) has been declared over, for a total of 21 facilities with ongoing outbreaks.

From Nov. 11-17, people not fully vaccinated accounted for 59.5% of cases. From Nov. 4-17, they accounted for 70.4% of hospitalizations.

Since December 2020, the province has administered 8,509,185 doses of Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna and AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccines.
