Sparwood hosting Santa Claus Cruise Dec. 17
Heads up Sparwood parents and children!
Upon special request of Mayor and Council, Santa Claus will be making a stop in the District Sparwood to spread some cheer during the Santa Claus Cruise, taking place Friday, December 17 beginning at 5:30 p.m. at Fire Hall #1.
Escorted by emergency service teams and joined by elected officials, Santa will be sharing chocolate bars with spectators as he passes through the community.
With COVID-19 gathering restrictions being relaxed, Santa will be condensing his route this year and travelling on key streets, over the course of the evening.
As safety is the highest priority, residents are reminded to stay on the sidewalks and avoid running out on the streets.
