Cranbrook Fire and Emergency Services (CFES) announced today that one of its members has been promoted to Captain.

“I’m pleased to announce that Cranbrook Fire has recently promoted Bill Munro (pictured right) to the position of Captain,” stated CFES Chief Scott Driver (pictured left) on social media.

“Bill’s years of experience with wildfire and prevention will serve this community well. I know our citizens and staff are in very capable hands. Congratulations Captain Munro,” Chief Driver said.

“Congratulations Bill and all the best on becoming the leader of “A” Shift.”
