From 7 to 9 p.m. tonight, District of Elkford Fire Rescue and Emergency Services will be conducting a simulated fire scenario at the former District of Elkford municipal office (816A Michel Road).

Seeing smoke? Don’t panic! During this training exercise, you may see firefighters and the fire truck in the downtown area, as well as fake smoke coming from the old office building.

Please don’t call 9-1-1: this is only a training exercise.
