The Regional District of East Kootenay’s (RDEK) Electoral Area B Town Hall Meeting and Volunteer of the Year Celebration will be held November 18 at the Elko Community Hall.

Things will start at 7 p.m. with the Volunteer of the Year celebration for Corlyn Haarstad, followed by cake and refreshments.

The Town Hall Meeting will follow with presentation topics, including:

– Electoral Area B Director’s Report from Stan Doehle.

– Baynes Lake Aquifer Project / CLEAR Society.

– Five-Year Financial Plan.

– Emergency Preparedness.
