Reggie Goldsbury running for Liberals in riding
A familiar name is running for the Liberal Party of Canada in the for Columbia—Kootenay—Southern Rockies riding.
Liberal Party of Canada National Campaign Co-Chair Terry Duguid announced March 28 that Reggie Goldsbury was acclaimed as riding candidate for the April 28 federal election. Reggie is the son of past riding Liberal candidate Robin Goldsbury.
The Liberal Party website notes Central Kootenay resident Reggie Goldsbury is “a devoted community leader who has shown their deep passion and determination to make life better for families in Columbia—Kootenay—Southern Rockies.
“As the Liberal candidate for Columbia—Kootenay—Southern Rockies, Reggie knows what it takes to create good jobs, support families and small businesses in the community, and build a better future for everyone.
“Reggie has a unique understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing Columbia—Kootenay—Southern Rockies, and he will be the local champion this community needs to bring your priorities to Ottawa,” the website stated.
“He is ready to work with Mark Carney and the Liberal team to invest in our middle class, build the strongest economy in the G7, and keep Canada strong.”
