Congratulations to Dr. Sophie Pierre, who was recognized last week by Indigenous Tourism BC (ITBC) with the Tourism Industry Leader (Legacy) Award.

This honour celebrates Sophie’s decades of leadership, vision, and her incredible impact on Indigenous tourism, both here in the Kootenay Rockies and across the province.

Her leadership in the transformation of the St. Eugene Golf Resort & Casino remains one of her most powerful and inspiring legacies.
