Cranbrook Community Forest celebrates volunteers

It’s Volunteer Week, and in the Cranbrook Community Forest, that means celebrating the incredible people who give their time, energy, and heart to this place we all love, this week and all year long.

From building and maintaining trails, to painting and signage, organizing weed pulls, supporting education, and championing environmental awareness and protection, our volunteers do it all.

Behind the scenes, they also navigate the complexities of working with multiple levels of government to help ensure the forest is cared for today and into the future.

Their work often goes unseen, but its impact is everywhere. Every trail you walk, every view you enjoy, every healthy ecosystem we protect, it’s all made possible by their dedication.

To every volunteer who shows up for the forest: thank you. Your passion and commitment make this place stronger, healthier, and more connected for everyone.

If you’ve ever thought about getting involved, there’s always room for more helping hands.

Happy trails!
