Elk Valley students help name police vehicles

During the spring of this year the Elk Valley RCMP partnered with our local elementary schools to come up with unique names for Elk Valley RCMP vehicles.

The students did an incredible job and there were so many great names put forward and in the end Elk Valley RCMP staff and officers voted and came up with the winning entries.

The winning entry chosen from FJ Mitchell Elementary came from Brooklyn who suggested the name “Ghostrider.”

From the homeschool community the winning entry came from Nate (pictured above) who suggested the name “Hosmer Hornet.”

Rocky Mountain Elementary School’s winning entries came from Evrhett with “Southeast Beast” and from Nahanni with “Rocky Ranger.”

From Isabella Dicken Elementary School, Grace came up with the winning entry of “Powder Patrol.”

Fernie Academy’s winning entry came from Eve with “Roadblock.”

The Elk Valley RCMP wants to express our appreciation to all the students who put forward such fantastic suggestions, and we are looking forward to doing this again next spring!
