BC Wildfire Service and Invermere Fire Rescue – Station 2200 members are currently responding to a fire near Peters Hill in Invermere.

The fire (N20845) is currently being held and crews are continuing to monitor and manage the situation.

The fire is estimated at approximately 0.1 hectares in size and was discovered today, July 15.

If you are travelling through the area, please slow down and use caution when passing by to allow emergency crews to safely work.
