Rachelle Sebastian elected to council
ʔaq̓am Community this morning announced the results of the July 30 council by-election.
With 100 votes, Rachelle Sebastian is the newest member of ʔiⱡwat̓naʔis ʔaq̓am (Council).
The by-election had a 53% voter turnout, with 187 votes cast out of 353 possible voters. One ballot was rejected.
