Golfers will have 18 chances to score a
hole-in-one at the beautiful Cranbrook Golf Course in an attempt to win a new vehicle at the second annual Boston Pizza Cranbrook / Northstar Motors Ltd. Par 3 Charity Golf Tournament on Friday, August 23.

“We are so excited to host this unique charity golf tournament, enabling our two companies to work together to raise important monies for a local charity that the entire region benefits from,” said organizers, Trevor Gordon, Owner of Boston Pizza Cranbrook and Pat Spring, General Sales Manager, Northstar Motors. “We are both passionate about the game of golf, so why not take the game we love and turn it into not only a fun day for golfers but a profitable one for charity.”

Every hole at the Cranbrook Golf Course will be transformed into a Par 3, meaning men’s and ladies’ tee-boxes will be moved within a certain yard distance of the pin. Every hole will feature a new vehicle courtesy of Northstar Motors Ltd. And if that is not enough, every hole will have a closest-to-the-pin major prize, so even if a hole-in-one isn’t made, there is a prize for trying!

In addition to these amazing prizes, there will be on-course entertainment, putting contests, Beat the Pro action, silent auction and an amazing dinner to finish it off.

The second Annual Par 3 Charity Golf Tournament’s proceeds will go to the East Kootenay Foundation for Health (EKFH). Additionally, the EKFH will provide the volunteers to staff the holes, as witnesses must be available for each hole, in hopes that a golfer or two will walk away with the keys to a new vehicle.
