Emergency crews respond to two-vehicle accident
Emergency crews responded to a two-vehicle accident at Standard Hill Road and Highway 95A in Cranbrook at 2:30 p.m. today, Friday, Oct. 21.
RCMP, Cranbrook Fire Department, Ministry of Transportation and BC Ambulance attended the scene, where occupants of a newer model grey mini-van, askew in the entrance to the Standard Hill Road, had to be extricated by the Jaws of Life.
A white compact sedan was in the ditch on the golf course side of the highway.
Traffic was lined up in both directions along Highway 95A as emergency crews attended to the scene.
No details have yet emerged as to injuries or any further news.
