Vacant Radium Lodge damaged in four-alarm blaze
Over 25 firefighters from the Radium Hot Springs, Windermere, Invermere and Panorama Fire Departments responded to a large fire in the vacant Radium Hot Springs Lodge this afternoon (Oct. 6).
The fire heavily damaged the building, which was slated for demolition. Crews were able to contain the fire to the main building and are currently on scene doing mop-up and watching for hot spots.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
