Kimberley Platzl Holiday Light Up
Pre-Christmas festivities kick into gear in Kimberley this Saturday evening, Nov. 19, when the Platzl Holiday Light Up takes place.
It is a festive addition to a day requiring strong municipal support, as it is also Election Day.
The event begins at 6 p.m. with Christmas carols being sung by the Kimberley Community Choir.
The Kimberley Roller Derby Team will be on hand to entertain as well as a special guest from Ft. Steele. In addition, hot apple cider and goodies will be available from Kimberley FourSquare Youth.
At 6:30 p.m. Santa Claus arrives to help light up the Platzl, already a winter-wonderland.
From about 6:35 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. families can take advantage of free pictures with Santa – but please be sure to bring a donation for the Food Bank.
