FW Green clinic helps Starlite Campaign
The gift of giving took on special meaning this Christmas for the staff and physicians at the FW Green Medical Clinic.
Normally the group does an exchange of holiday presents however this year they unanimously decided to forgo the gift exchange by instead making a donation of $610 through the Starlite Campaign for the digital stereotactic mammography fund.
As of December 22, 10 out of 17 beautiful blue stars are shining thanks to efforts such as this. East Kootenay Foundation for Health is overwhelmed by the outpouring of gifts this Christmas for the mammography unit, the A Clear View fund presently sits at just over $557,000 towards its $1 million goal.
