St. Eugene launches Live Music at the Pavilion
St. Eugene Golf Resort & Casino is excited to announce Maple Blues Award winner Suzie Vinnick as the first performer in a series of live shows at the Pavilion at St. Eugene. The first show with Suzie Vinnick is at 8 p.m. on February 29.
The 15th Annual Maple Blues Awards named Suzie Vinnick ‘Songwriter of the Year’ and ‘Female Vocalist of the Year’ on January 16.
Suzie, a Saskatoon native now living in Toronto, has performed across Canada and the US. She has three previous critically-acclaimed albums under her belt, including one that earned her a 2009 Juno nomination. Her latest record, ‘Me ‘n’ Mabel’ is a collection of 14 songs about Suzie and her little Larrivee parlour guitar that she has written and performed in solo shows over the years. Her commanding voice with a huge range has received rave reviews from the likes of Gordon Lightfoot to Stuart McLean from CBC Radio.
Music fans from the East Kootenay will have the rare opportunity to see this award winning blues singer perform live in an intimate show at the Pavilion at St. Eugene. The 7,200 square feet Pavilion offers an airy atmosphere and the option of lounge style seating to ensure a spectacular listening experience. The series of events being showcased in the Pavilion at St. Eugene will focus on live music but will also include planned performances of theatre, comedy and dance.
To help make a true night of the Suzie Vinnick performance, St. Eugene is offering a special concert package for the inaugural show from $75 per person including overnight stay and concert ticket (plus applicable taxes, based on double occupancy of a standard room).
