Rod and Gun Hoodoos work bee March 10 and 11

The Nature Trust Hoodoos work bee is a go for March 10 and 11 for Lake Windermere & District Rod and Gun Club members, and others who wish to help out.

We will all get together at Hawke Road on the Westside Road at the Nature Trust kiosk and car pool from there. Bring good boots as there is still some snow. Rob Neale will be joining us at Hawke Road at 9 a.m.

There will be lunch, water and refreshments supplied by the club. An extra chainsaw or two would be great; the club has one and I will bring mine.

Gas and oil will be supplied. We will cut and pile forest in-growth and maybe burn some if the weather is right and Rob Neale allows us to.

Please pass this around to anyone who wishes to come out and enjoy a day or two of habitat restoration on this great winter range for wildlife area.
