New branch manager for Wildsight
Hello Wildsight members! My name is Andrea Chapman and I am happy to introduce myself as the new Branch Manager for Wildsight Kimberley/Cranbrook.
I first moved to Kimberley as a fresh graduate from small town Saskatchewan; I fell in love with the mountains, enjoyed the impressive recreational access, and met a lot of great people that call this area their home. Years passed, experiences were had, and I found myself drawn back to this community.
As the Branch Manager for Wildsight Kimberley/Cranbrook I look forward to continuing and building on the many programs Wildsight has to offer and getting to know Kimberley, Cranbrook and the region on a much higher level. My education is in the Natural Resource Sciences, my work experience includes environmental research, consulting, education, and management, and I am passionate about everything outdoors.
When not at work for Wildsight Kim/Cran, you will find me out and about enjoying the plentiful recreation Kimberley has to offer (possibly guiding a snowshoe tour), at home gardening, or spending time with friends and family.
While looking forward to the coming year, I would also like to thank Helen Sander for her passion, commitment and many achievements as the Wildsight Kimberley/Cranbrook Program Manager. We all wish you a happy and much deserved retirement!
