There will be a short disruption of traffic on 2nd Street South between Victoria and 24th Avenue starting at 7 a.m. Thursday morning for milling of the existing paved surface. Initially the eastbound lane will remain open, but it will eventually be closed to allow for the work to happen safely in close proximity to the busy intersection

This will affect a section of the Highlands Route but it should be limited to only a couple hours. A detour will be in place along 3rd Street South and the road will remain open to emergency traffic.
