Pow wow Wednesday at ʔaq̓am
As part of its Annual General Assembly, the Ktunaxa Nation is holding a pow wow on Wednesday evening, July 15.
This year’s Annual General Assembly and pop wow host is ʔaq̓am (St. Mary’s Band).
The pubic is welcome and encouraged to come out and experience Ktunaxa culture through dancing, drumming and song.
“The pow wow is an event open to all and we encourage the general public to attend,” said Ktunaxa Nation communications director Jesse Nicholas.
Please come out and celebrate Ktunaxa culture starting at 7 p.m. Masters of ceremonies are Joe Pierre and Leslie Joseph and host drums are courtesy aDrumnik and Little Bear Spirit and a variety of specials will be featured, including a potato dance, last man/woman standing and much more.
