Summer Breeze showing at Arts Station
Up next in The Arts Station Gallery is ‘At Home in the Woods’ by Summer Breeze.
Hailing from the North Coast of B.C., Summer Breeze is a fairly new resident to the Elk Valley having moved here in 2012, looking to shake things up and to breathe new life to her work.
She paints wonderfully colourful abstract-realist works of art primarily in Acrylics, inspired by nature, the elements and wildlife. In her upcoming exhibit ‘At Home in the Woods,’ she pays tribute to the plants, creatures and people that make their homes amongst the trees, off the beaten pack, choosing to live surrounded by nature. The opening reception for the show is Thursday, February 25 at 7 p.m. at The Arts Station in Fernie. The exhibit continues until Monday, March 22.
