Donation to Cranbrook Public Library

There is a new way to get around the Cranbrook Public Library.

Gary and Susi Cullum have graciously donated their mother’s wheelchair to the library, as part of a planned act of kindness.

Alice Cullum was an avid reader, and a long-time user of the Cranbrook Public Library. In recent years she made good use of the library’s large print collection, as well as the homebound service.

Her kind gift via her children now makes it possible for those with mobility needs to have yet another resource for them use while visiting the library. The new chair will complement the library’s designated parking, entrance and exit ramps, restrooms, seating, and wheelchair accessible computer stations.

There is no cost to use, just ask for it at the front desk. The library is grateful to the Cullum family for this very special gift.
