Help Lobsterfest support Kimberley Splash Park

The Rotary Club of Kimberley is once again hosting Lobsterfest on June 11 and tickets can now be purchased online.

Lobsterfest, in its seventh year, supports several Rotary projects. This year’s primary focus is the Kimberley Splash Park. The splash park is a community based project that was started by a group of parents and has been taken up by the Rotary Club of Kimberley to make this dream a reality.

Fundraising is underway to secure the $300,000 needed to install a zero-depth aquatic play area at Rotary park and just over $140,000 has already been donated by community groups, businesses, and individuals.

The dinner, which takes place at the Kimberley Conference & Athletic Training Centre, will include fresh maritime lobster, a cash bar, and entertainment provided by SHEVA.

In addition to the many donated silent auction items, guests will be encouraged to participate in the live auction lead by auctioneer Wes Tallman.  A raffle and a 50/50 are also being planned to round out this fun-filled evening.
