Mountain Song Choirs are celebrating the launch of their updated brand and expanded programming welcoming singers to join this upcoming 2026–2027 season.

With dedicated ensembles for both youth and adults, Mountain Song offers a welcoming and enjoyable ensemble guided by experienced local music educators.

To kick off the new season, prospective singers are invited to attend open, cost-free introductory rehearsals:

Mountain Song Community Choir (Adults)

Director: Evan Bueckert. Accompanist: Katharine Nimmert.

Free Rehearsal: Thursday, September 10, from 7 – 9 p.m.

Location: St. Aidan’s Orthodox Church, Cranbrook.

A welcoming ensemble for adult singers of various experience levels seeking community connection and diverse choral repertoire. This season features a collaboration with the Symphony of the Kootenays.

Mountain Song Youth Choir (Grades 4–8)

Director: Carly Benson.

Free Rehearsal: Wednesday, September 16, from 3:15 – 4:45 p.m.

Location: Cranbrook Curling Club.

Youth development program for kids who love to sing and perform.
