e-KNOW launches real estate section

East Kootenay News Online Weekly (e-KNOW) is launching a new real estate page to provide sellers and buyers with another guide for homes and property in the region.

“Real estate is a vital piece of our economy and social fabric. Every good newspaper should provide a glimpse into what is happening and available in its coverage area and that’s what we are trying to do with our real estate page,” said e-KNOW publisher Carrie Schafer. “With our readership numbers now averaging more than one million page views a month, we anticipate the section to grow into an exciting part of e-KNOW’s daily presence.”

Helping e-KNOW in the launch is an exciting partnership with PropertyGuys.com, with several listings already in place.

PropertyGuys.com, like other property sales companies, understands that reaching buyers and sellers is paramount and they also understand that the traditional means of reaching people are fading into the rearview mirror,” said e-KNOW editor/owner Ian Cobb. “Advertising online, through a heavy traffic portal such as e-KNOW, which after three years in business now has about 50,000 unique individuals a month coming to our site, gives buyers and sellers an exciting new forum to find and vend homes and properties. We also have thousands of readers in Alberta, the Central Kootenay and Okanagan, as well as elsewhere in B.C. and nearby U.S. states. We are a perfect site for sellers seeking to reach more potential buyers than traditional products can provide.”

PropertyGuys.com co-owner Amber Biberdorf said the Fernie-based company is “thrilled to be able to
offer this new service to our clients! We pride ourselves on being at the
forefront of technology and the e-know.ca/real-estate real estate online publication
hits the mark! E-know.ca is the first online publication in our area to offer the
convenience of a direct link to our client listings on PropertyGuys.com.

“We are fortunate to have had the opportunity to collaborate with e-KNOW
through the creative process on this concept from its inception, and are
thrilled with the results! The future of real estate is here and we are so excited to be leading
the way for our clients,” Biberdorf said.

“We are very grateful to be working with PropertyGuys.com and we believe that together we will encourage more readers and consumers to catch onto a product that we will become a one-stop shopping centre for homes and properties, as more and more people turn to electronic devices and computers for reading and researching. It is the wave of the future for your advertising to be interactive and more than the static, one dimension of traditional means. Online advertising allows for so much more information to be shared, and to a much, much larger audience,” Schafer said.

RealEstatebannerAll advertisements in e-KNOW conveniently link directly to our customer’s websites, information sheet PDFs, Facebook or other social media pages.

Along with containing news and information about all East Kootenay communities, e-KNOW also contains other traditional newspaper sections such as obituaries, classifieds, the largest events page in the region, a contest page and flyers for big and small business.

“We recently added local online home-based businesses, like Pampered Chef and Passion Party local hostesses to our flyers section, to go with such local businesses as Ashley Furniture and the Bedroom Furniture Gallery,” Schafer noted.
