Councillor forum being held Oct. 29
The Fernie municipal elections forum will be held on Wednesday, October 29 at the Fernie Community Centre from 7-9 p.m.
Presented by the Fernie Chamber of Commerce and The Free Press, candidates for City of Fernie council will be presented with a few pre-submitted questions and then there will be an open-microphone portion for the audience to ask any questions that haven’t been discussed. We hope you can make it out to the forum!

Fernie City Council candidates: Phil Iddon; Jon Levesque; Dan McSkimming; Ange Qualizza; Willard Ripley; Dennis Schafer; and Joe Warshawsky.
Mayor Mary Giuliano will be re-elected by acclamation on Oct. 20. General Election date is Saturday November 15.
And Regional District of East Kootenay Electoral Area A Director Mike Sosnowski was also unchallenged, returning him to office for the next four years.
