CUPE Local 2090 workers assist DARE

CUPE Local 2090 workers today donated funds towards the Drug Abuse Resistance Education (DARE) Program.

Chris Ellis, Vice President of CUPE Local 2090, this morning presented Cranbrook RCMP Cst. Katie Forgeron with a cheque in the amount of $250. The money helps support the ongoing DARE Programs taught by RCMP officers to local elementary school students.

“City workers are proud to support the ongoing efforts of the Cranbrook RCMP in engaging youth in the community. Cranbrook RCMP would like to thank all members of the union for their generous donation,” said Cst. Forgeron.
