The District of Elkford’s under-construction community hall was vandalized sometime between 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 10 and 7 a.m. this morning, Monday, Dec. 12.

According to the district, numerous windows were broken and the town is asking that anyone who has any information on this incident to please contact the RCMP or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222.TIPS (1-800-222-8477).

The vandals struck just a few days after the district celebrated receiving $1 million from Teck to help in the completion of the $6.3 million multi-purpose hall.
