Elko voters to have a say in fire protection service
Regional District of East Kootenay board of directors June 10 unanimously voted to send the issue of a proposed Elko Fire Service project to a fall referendum.
Along with casting votes in the local government elections in November, Elko area residents will also be asked to have their say on the proposed Elko Fire Protection Service.
