Expect action in the skies August 17
Cranbrook and Kimberley area residents can expect to see a variety of different aircraft flying overhead on Monday, August 17.
Part of a Canadian Rockies International Airshow Society airshow teaser event, aircraft such as a Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) CF-188 Hornet (pictured above) and the striking Yellow Thunder team with their powerful and loud Harvards will be heading in and out of the airport.
Stunt flyer Stefan Trischuk will also be roaring overhead in his Ultimate 10-150 biplane, as well as Dave Mathieson, the number one aerobatic pilot in Canada – also known as Super Dave and his Scheyden MX2.
Aircraft will coming and going from Canadian Rockies International Airport beginning around 9 a.m.
The Airshow Society is working at bringing another top-flight airshow to Cranbrook and area for next year.
