Kimberley Farmers’ Market off to hot start

Wildsight’s Kimberley Farmers’ Market opened for the first time Thursday, July 3, on a closed section of Howard Street, adjacent to The Platzl.

Hundreds of people thronged in the market and spilled over into The Platzl, where live music and the usual goings-on in downtown Kimberley created a carnival atmosphere.

The Farmers’ Market afforded a grand cross section of locally grown foods, crafts and artisan products, including plenty to see, not to mention a chance to catch up with friends and neighbours.

The market runs from 5-7:30 p.m. every Thursday until September 11.
