Seniors’ Minister on hand for annual Rotary Christmas Dinner

There were so many volunteers in the kitchen that e-KNOW couldn't fit them all into one image!

More than 450 Cranbrook and area seniors were once again treated to a sumptuous Christmas Dinner by members of the Cranbrook Rotary Club, and a special guest, the Hon. Ralph Sultan, Minister of State for Seniors last night (Dec. 5) at Colombo Lodge.

Gloves on for the Minister!

The 79-year-old West Vancouver-Capilano MLA arrived in the region Dec. 4 and made three stops in Fernie, Sparwood and Elkford, along with Kootenay East MLA and Minister of Community, Sport and Cultural Development Bill Bennett.

Rotarian and City of Cranbrook Coun. Sharon Cross has a word with the Minister.

Affable and accommodating, Sultan first helped Rotarians with final preparations of the dinner and later met with and addressed the gathered seniors.
