Stolen boat and truck recovered

A keened eyed, vigilant citizen helped Cranbrook RCMP quickly recover a stolen truck and boat Saturday.

On August 8, a 2007 MasterCraft Pro-Star ski-boat, which was attached to a 2010 GMC pickup, were stolen from the Days Inn in Cranbrook.

Thanks to the event being posted on social media sites, including e-KNOW’s, the vehicle and boat were successfully recovered later that evening due to the keen eye and vigilance of a single citizen.

City of Cranbrook Councillor Wesly Graham was the one who spotted the truck and boat behind Mr. Mike’s and reported it to police.

The Cranbrook RCMP would like to thank the public for their assistance in locating the boat and trailer. RCMP is still investigating the theft of both items.
