IFR knock down Athalmer fire
On Sunday, May 30, Invermere Fire Rescue (IFR) was dispatched to the area of 4th Avenue in Athalmer for a structure fire.
Firefighters arrived on scene and found smoke and flames coming from a third floor balcony, IFR reported on social media today.
“Windermere was requested to respond with their ladder truck for mutual aid. The crews were quickly able to extinguish the fire. No injuries reported. Cause of fire and cost of damage is unknown at this time,” IFR said.
