Arrests made after attempted B&E near Radium
On Thursday, June 23 at about 3:30 a.m., Columbia Valley RCMP responded to an interrupted break and enter at a residence on Westside Road near Radium Hot Springs.
The owner of the residence was alerted to an intrusion by his motion-activated cameras and three individuals fled from the scene when confronted by a neighbour.
An officer located the suspect vehicle on Westside Road and attempted to conduct a traffic stop when the three individuals fled into the forested area.
A police dog and officer responded and located two of the three individuals hiding nearby.
An adult male and adult female were arrested for multiple offences and held in custody.
The identity of a third female is known and a warrant will be requested, reported Cpl. Jeff Witzke of Columbia Valley RCMP.
