It was winter sports heaven in Cranbrook Feb. 15 with thousands of people gathering outside Western Financial Place for the thrills and fun of CBK-X Winter Blitzville 2020.

X Games legend Brett Turcotte and his Monster Energy team showed off death-defying, high-energy snowmobile riding, while snowboard and ski athletes from the area performed a wide array of aerial stunts.

The free BC Family Day long weekend was capped off with a fireworks show.
