Marching boots and red high heels with hairy legs; roller skates, horses, music, moustaches, smiles aplenty and community on full display is one of thousands of ways to describe the 2016 St. Eugene Golf Resort & Casino Sam Steele Days parade June 18.

Thousands of people once again lined Cranbrook’s Louis Street (1^st Street South), 8^th Avenue South and Baker Street Saturday to take in the biggest parade in the Kootenays.
