City walk signals set to automatic due to COVID-19

In order to reduce high touch points across the community in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the City of Cranbrook has changed all its traffic pedestrian walk signals to automatic settings.

That means that those residents wanting to cross at intersections will no longer have to press a button indicating they wish to do so.

Many municipalities across the province have made or are in the process of making these changes for the safety of the public.
