Flushing operations move to area around Kinsmen Park
City of Cranbrook Public Works is moving watermain flushing operations to a large area surrounding Kinsmen Park and St. Mary’s Catholic School starting Wednesday, May 12.
Residents living in the area from Victoria Avenue to 14th Avenue South between 2nd Street South and 13th Street South can expect some discoloured water over the next few days as work is completed. This is not a health concern. Please run your cold water taps until the water runs clear. Work is expected to be finished by the end of this week.
The overall flushing program generally runs until the end of June annually.
