Live Local Box draw winners named
Recently, the Cranbrook Chamber of Commerce in partnership with City of Cranbrook, Cranbrook Downtown Business Association, Community Futures East Kootenay and e-KNOW (East Kootenay News Online) held the Live, Spend, Be Local campaign to promote local shopping to help local businesses.
As part of that campaign, e-KNOW held a draw for two Live Local Boxes, containing a wealth of local products.
And the winners are: Tamara Cartwright and April Lund.
The business boxes were part of an initiative meant to support local businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic. All funds raised go back to the businesses that made these boxes possible.
Each Live Local Box contains: Seed packages -Top Crop Farm and Pet; Surprise bags (hair care products) – Mad Lillies Salon and Day Spa; Pie voucher – Auntie Barb’s Bakery; Blind date with a book – Huckleberry Books; Activity pack – RM Office Solutions; Dog Treats – The Paw Shop; Bath bomb – Yahk Soap Co.; Jerky Pack – Ricks Fine Meats; Local Delivery – Kootenay Computer Co.
Each box is valued over $100.
A portion of each sale went toward funding the Cranbrook Chamber of Commerce’s Computer Donation Program.
Congratulations to the draw winners!
