The City of Cranbrook will have two new directors on the Regional District of East Kootenay (RDEK) board.

Mayor Wayne Price will be joined by three-term Councillor Norma Blissett on the RDEK board as well as the Kootenay East Regional Hospital District Board (KERHD) for terms expiring at the inaugural meeting in November 2026.

Coun. Lynnette Wray was also Nov. 7 appointed as an alternate to these two boards for a term also expiring in November 2026.
