Paint, volunteer time donated to daycare

Sherwin-Williams, led by new store manager Jack Roller, has generously donated paint and volunteer time to brighten up the interior of the Cranbrook Boys and Girls Club Building Blocks Daycare.

Sherwin-Williams 3“As a past parent at the Cranbrook Boys and Girls Club, I know that the Club offers excellent services with often limited resources,” Roller stated. “At Sherwin Williams, we are so pleased to be able to support the club in this way. We donated our Emerald brand paint in a semi-gloss for this high traffic area. The durability and quality of this paint were perfect for this job. And our staff members were happy to volunteer their time on the weekend to do the painting. It’s great for our team to be able to support such a worthy cause.”

According to Debbie Morris, Program Director, “We were thrilled when Jack approached us about taking on this project. This is a huge help to the club. Jack and the whole Sherwin-Williams team were so great to work with. We really appreciate their generosity and community spirit. The staff, children and parents in the daycare noticed the new paint right away, and everybody loves it.”

The Cranbrook Boys and Girls Club has a 46-year history of offering successful programs for children and youth in Cranbrook. As a member of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada, the mission of the Cranbrook Boys and Girls Club is to provide a safe, supportive place where children and youth can experience new opportunities, overcome barriers, build positive relationships and develop confidence and skills for life.
