The morning went from overcast and same old, same old for the City of Cranbrook, as per this winter, when suddenly large, fat, wet flakes of snow started swirling down at about 11:15 a.m.

By 11:25 a.m. the city was blanketed with the white stuff. Just like that, winter returned.

The forecast calls for snow and rain showers through the afternoon with a chance of clearing this evening. Tomorrow is supposed to be sunny.
