Vehicle found but theft suspects still at large
Cranbrook RCMP this evening would like to advise the public that the vehicle involved in a theft and flight from police earlier this morning has been located but the suspects are still outstanding.
The suspects were last seen in the Park Royal neighbourhood at approximately 3:30 p.m., where they crashed their vehicle. It was determined the vehicle was stolen out of Alberta.
“Extensive search by multiple police agencies were unable to locate the suspects. We would like to ask everyone to ensure that their vehicles are locked overnight in case the suspects attempt to steal another vehicle,” said Cst. Katie Forgeron of Cranbrook RCMP.
