City of Cranbrook waterworks crews are dealing with a water main break in the Mount Royal area this hour.

Crews have had to quickly shut off water service to residences on and around Mount Nelson Crescent, in order to isolate and repair the leak.

Residents in that area may be without water until 4 p.m. today (May 5).

Once water service is restored, water customers may notice discoloured water. Please run your cold water tap until it runs clear.
