Letter to the Editor
As a firefighter, Fire Chief and Fire Commissioner, I dedicated my life to keeping communities safe. I ask that you stand with me now and safeguard our future Cranbrook.
As Mayor I will:
Take action on day one, working with my fellow councilors, to fix our problems with rising homelessness and crime
Fight for more affordable housing in Cranbrook, for local citizens in particular, our young adults and those starting out a life in our city
Invest in our city road and sewer repairs wisely and fairly
Encourage responsible development made in the best interests of the citizens of Cranbrook and adjoining areas, not special interests
Make sure decisions about public lands, such as the future of Baker Park, are done transparently and with meaningful input from all citizens
Most importantly, I will remain open to the opinions of all citizens –especially those who may hold opinions different from my own. That’s how we learn and grow and make the best decisions in leadership.
With your support we can stand together to meet our challenges head on, to take action now, to build a stronger, safer Cranbrook.
